The 2024 model is faster, and the 2026 is even worst, every year they are getting slower and more expensive lol, anyway is a decent deal as long as phone has never been open so you can still have IP67, otherwise this phone is gonna get wet fast.

All of the tech companies are convinced that if they keep producing chips that get faster every year, they can put lower end chips, have similar speed , and charge more. This is why we are stuck in the same hamster wheel across the board. Even Apple does this, they keep pushing base processors to pro models because "we get the same performance as pro", which is not entirely true. But they still charge a pro premium.

I've had both the 2024 and 2025 versions. I sold both of the 2024 Moto G Powers that I had. The CPU is slightly better on the 2024 version (Dimensity 7020 vs 6300), but it isn't a noticeable difference.

I still have the 2025 version. Mine is a Straight Talk locked version, and I'm not going to bother getting it unlocked. It cost me $30 and works on Visible without unlocking. The BIG advantage (to me) of the 2025 version is that it fully supports wireless Motorola Smart Connect, including desktop mode. The 2024 does not. This may not be of any interest to others.

I'd also recommend getting it in China unless u plan on bringing the phone back to use in North America anyway poco is solid for the price and realme look for video reviews.

I have a 2024 that i got a deal on for a back up. It was ridiculously slow but I had an emergency and had to activate it. For whatever reason a reset and a physical sim brought it to life. It's fast now. Go figure. I think maybe Motorola can be inconsistent. Thanks for the warning on the 2025. I was considering getting one for a new back up.
