If it was a 6 I would bite... but people say the 5 is cheaply made earcups (unsure how easy the process is to replace with aftermarket ones that may or may not be better)

Heard the same too. I got the Ult for $60 off eBay from a deal couple of weeks ago and can't ne happier with price and quality TBH.

The hinges on these break easily. Still great sound, but I'd probably still side with the XM4 or wait til the 6 drop in price.
