Arguments in favor of Flip 6:
- Single unit
- Longer battery life (12 hours vs 10 for the Go 5)
- Better bass?
Arguments in favor of Go 5:
- Can pair for stereo sound (Flip 6 can do this, too, but this comparison is about the price)
- Failsafe in case one is disabled
- Has ambient lighting
- IP68 waterproof rating vs IP67 for the Flip 6
- More color choices at sale price.

While I do enjoy stereo sound, I value simplicity more. Which means not having to keep two devices charged and keep track of where they are.

A flip 6 sounds much better than a go 5. Having 2 for stereo is not going to change that.
