Why is AT&T network a deal breaker? So far it's been my favorite network, with the best coverage. Though I haven't had service on it for 2 or 3 years now(currently on Infimobile-Verizon network)...Maybe it's gone downhill?

Just goes to show that you can't trust the internet or Lyca Mobile.

Do I need a new SIM card?
Yes, all customers who have activated the sim cards earlier than 20th Sep, 2025 will require a new SIM card compatible with upgraded network. We'll notify customers and provide free replacement SIMs with easy activation instructions.

I've tried all 3 of US Mobile's networks, and I had nothing but problems with Dark Star (the one based on AT&T). The coverage is decent, but I experienced missed SMS messages over WiFi Calling/VoWiFi, hotspot issues, and had trouble activating iMessage and FaceTime over cellular. I suspect this stems from AT&T's former practice of charging customers extra to use iMessage and FaceTime over cellular, and somehow that restriction got triggered in 2026. In contrast, US Mobile's Warp and Lightspeed networks worked fine for me. To be fair, this could be a US Mobile issue rather than a AT&T issue, but I doubt it.

Out in the wild,at&t works better than my T-Mobile. I get no reception with T-Mobile but at&t and Verizon were good

I understand. I don't really have any iPhone experience on any of the networks since we are strictly Android users, so maybe I missed out on some of those Apple-specific problems.
