Did this deal have close to 30 upvotes before it went Front Page? If so, then I think it's fair to say that it's Front Page worthy based on community consensus. However, if it had very few upvotes before it went on the Front Page, then it's very possible that it's getting artificially propped up by virtue of it being on the Front Page.

When I first saw the deal, I thought it sounded good. And I still do think that overall the price for this product is good. But it didn't register with me that it's only 16% off until I read your comment. Based on that, I feel like this is a small discount on a product with an already competitive base price. It's still something I'm interested in and may purchase. But there's no urgency, as it's a small discount that appears to happen relatively frequently.

I'm not sure if and how deals are defined. But some simple terminology could help. As an example, I'd call this deal "Hot" due to the popularity and good pricing. But I'd reserve "Slick" for deals that are more rare. Like you're getting a unique or exclusive opportunity since you happen to be on this site.

Bought these last time they showed up at $25. They work well, feel sturdy/well built, and work well with a variety of devices and wireless chargers. For $13/each that feels like a good price.

30W max is probably too low for a laptop, most will require at least 45W. It may charge a laptop that's asleep or overnight when not being in use.

Some laptops will still charge with a 30W but slowly discharge if you're using more power than 30W as you use it.

Most laptops will want 65-90, and gaming laptops 100 to 240.

Always on the lookout to upgrade my wall chargers, but hasn't the quality of Anker gone downhill lately? I have heard some negative things from people for a while now and when I went to research things people where not recommending them anymore.

Have you used it to run (not charge) something similar to external Bluetooth speakers with built in relatively small batteries?

I have a couple of chargers here that have minimal internal filtering and when used to run a powered BT speaker generate a LOT of hum, making them useless for that task.
