What model did you have? The Bespoke models have separate line for water dispenser and ice maker to avoid that problem. As a matter of fact, they are in a totally different compartment.

Haven't had issue on mine. or heard about bespoke model's waterline freezing issues.

Highly recommend Bespoke model

My three year old Samsung Bespoke compressor went out about two weeks ago. The technician came out to replace it. He ran a pressure test and said the refrigerator isn't repairable. I asked how common that issue is, and he says ours was the third one just that day. He thinks Samsung uses cheap material and has bad quality control, suggesting the that the refrigerators are shipped with cracks in the parts already, that they don't usually form from normal usage. He said it's likely the compressor went out because of a cavity leak causing it to work overtime until it failed.

My Samsung fridge just broke too. I replaced evap fan in the past, weekly ice issues, and lastly bad inverter and main board. I was very happy to see that fridge get rolled away.

I've had a Samsung 4287HARS for about 13 years now. It has never given me any issues. Actually, I love the thing and I would keep it but I'm doing a remodel and I need a counter depth refrigerator. I've heard they've improved considerably with some of the issues that people were having.
