I notice a difference. Aside from having fewer allergies, I observed that the pre-filters get dirty quickly, which means that the purifier works and keeps the air cleaner.

I live close to a relatively busy street, and I clean the house regularly, and still, these pre-filters need cleaning often. If you are sensitive to changes in the air, you should be able to feel and see that these purifiers work.

The default is is for the ionizer (Plasmawave) to be on, so you have to remember to turn it off each time you ever turn your purifier on and off.

That said, the ozone generated by the Plasmawave is supposed to be really low so if I forgot to turn it off I don't see why there would be a concern.....

Yes less allergic rashes after I got it when I was in a place with mold. I brought a similar Winix model.
