Surely they are just damaged inventory and not returns?

About a month ago, the XM6 bud were $120, with coupon. I ordered a pair and I like them.

It was through Secondipity on eBay, so it also came with a 2 year warranty from Allstate.

I would (and did) trust Secondipity over whatever Amazon sells, when it comes to refurbs. I'd look there, whenever they are back in stock.

Of course they do, just like every earbud on the market.

Had the XM4's for years and haven't needed a reason to upgrade. Plus, reviews on all the newer models don't seem impressive.

had the xm4 earbuds for a bit over a year before the uneven battery drain problem that started affecting almost everyone who updated their firmware. Wondering if these xm5s still have the issue

I have these and don't particularly like them. If I go on a walk with my Pixel 10 in my pocket, the audio goes in and out. Never had this issue with any other buds or headphones. Wild because with my WH1000XM5s I can be halfway down the block before I realize I left my phone at home.

I loved them for a while, but kept falling out despite messing with so many different tips. Good for when stationary. Switched to shokz open dots "clip-on" style. Doesn't hit as low, nor the highs as clear, but the sound stage is so wide like open-ended cans.

meh - if you sanitize them, not any different than using a used utensil at a restaurant

Even less gross. These were never in someone's mouth.

I am still on the XM4 train as well. I was able to get 10 pairs for ~$45, but I had to find which ones had the same firmware and change out some of their batteries myself. Only took like at 5 mins per earbud and now I have like 4 sets that work perfectly. Zero regrets, they are still great earbuds 😀
