Hahaha, i was kinda interested in this but you're not wrong. Looks a bit easier to use and a lot less likely to rip, and i like the compression cinch, but fundamentally a plastic bag does the exact same job.

Just use the free produce bag. One per shoe so you can shove each shoe into gaps in your clothes

Ew…those super thin ones that tear when you're looking at them?

I will never understand how some people have such a lax practice with shoes….maybe with dress shoes I guess?

Otherwise shoes are absolutely filthy and shoving them in between your garments feels so vomit

Don't know where you live, but here in SoCal, for quite a few years when plastic bags were still an option, Ralph's, Target, and Walmart all used these thicker than normal plastic bags. I got a few when I shopped in store, and got others when I placed pickup orders. I'm pretty sure these will live on Earth for the rest of my and my child's lives until those plastic-eating bacteria get introduced at landfills...

Yeah, but a plastic shopping bag is going to save space in my luggage, so I can also jam in my 15 shirts I may or may not want to wear for a weekend trip

I have large buccee plastic bags that I use specifically for shoes. Way easier and less space than this thing.

I don't even live near a buccees.
