Hmmmm...this welder or the current front page one. This YESWELDER seems to be rated pretty well. I would love to hear what others have to say!

I got the Seesii version a month ago for $62 and I know 1 person with this YESWELDER model and both work equally decent, the YESWELDER version just costs a little more. I use YESWELDER E71T-11 .030 flux core MIG wire because it is the best compromise of price and performance. The included Seesii E71T-GS .030 wire spatters more. BlueDemon wire is double the price but spatters maybe 25% less and makes slightly smoother welds but it's not worth 100% more cost for 25% better performance to me. I buy 10lb spools of YESWELDER wire for $39.99 rather than two 2lb spools for $25 because it is a much better deal. I just used the welder to construct a quick frame using 1" angle iron to hold the bigger spool behind the Seesii welder and it feeds through a 1/16" hole I drilled in the back of the welder since neither the Seeii nor this YESWELDER machine can fit a 10lb spool, only 2lb spools inside them. I got the idea for the 10lb spool holder from a YouTube vid called "Transform Your Welding Setup: Build a Custom Wire Holder Today!"

If you have an Amazon business account, select $79 listing, after coupon it's about $67.

I have one of these from a few years back on a previous deal. I'm a complete welding noob and have no idea what I'm doing aside from a few youtube "lessons", but it gets the job done just fine for a 120v unit. Nothing fancy, but it's been reliable. It even fell off a shelf in the garage a while back onto the concrete and is still cooking, which is a point in its favor imo.

Thanks for the detailed reply. Things in my garage have been known to fall off shelves too. It's very important that they bounce back.

I have the stick only YESWELDER and it's been a champ. I am not a great welder but I have made several trailer repairs and other simple things with it and have had good success. If this is of similar quality then adding the MIG capability is definitely tempting.

I'm not sure if it's the same model but Project Farm recommends the yeswelder.

I already have a welder otherwise I'd get this. I'm looking for a TIG welder when a deal comes up.
