The online AI chatbot gathers relevant information and once signed in, connects you to a live representative from either the Overland Park KS or Bellevue WA corporate offices which I assume is similar to the US Mobile AI chatbot.
US Mobile offers service on the T-Mobile network (branded internally as Light Speed), allowing you to get T-Mobile's coverage at a lower prepaid price without the benefits associated with T-Mobile postpaid services.

Keep in mind, the offers you're referring to are simply "baked" into the monthly service price and there really is no such thing as a "free phone" - if you use the $1099 retail price of an iPhone 17 Pro and divide that by 36 months (the current required commitment for a phone offer) its just under $31 per month. You're techincally obiligated now to stay with the carrier for 3 years in order to retain the discount since it is broken down into monthly credits.
