T-Mobile undergoes several types of independent and internal audits, ranging from network performance evaluations to data security and regulatory compliance checks.

If a publically traded company was "lying" about consumer related network activity and services not only would they fail the audit, they would be fined and even sued by the federal government, their shareholders or in a consumer class action.

The network prioritizaiton in downtown New York would differ from the prioritization in Omaha Nebraska. Carriers spend millions building out reliable systems that can load and offload users in order to maintain the most reliable speeds and services in order to compete with one another.
They will be sued. The regulatory scrutiny is not how you describe, I know first hand. They will market anything that barely passes their legal department, and the third party auditors are in their pocket. They are liberally using the term "premium" data, which they themselves define.

Network prioritization doesn't differ depending on location. Their network uses the same Quality of service indicators across the board. The only difference is usage. This plan has the same priority as any MVNO, yet they say you get 50 GB "premium" data.
Their experience more plans also get "premium" data, but are higher priority. Their legal cop out is the line about lesser priority than other plans. This is misleading at best.

This is not a deal when you can get mint (SAME PRIORITY DATA) for $180+tax for a year ~ $15-17 a mo

"Terms Subject to Change" is the language that is inlcuded in any subscription based service. That is the Fine Print, including, but not limited to 2017.
That was not part of the terms, but you also can't use fine print to contradict the terms of an offer. The fine print is only allowed to provide additional details of the terms.

Response from T-Mobile Rep:

Hey there, I'll be one of your T-Force advocates today. Welcome back!
This plan looks like an amazing way to save if you've been considering re-activating with T-Mobile with a new account, and with it being a Walmart exclusive plan you'll need to visit your local Walmart location to activate, and take advantage of this plan.
Do you have any other questions for us before you head over to get started?

This posting was to inform the SD community of a money saving in-store offer exclusive to T-Mobile and Walmart.

Offer subject to change without notice.

To begin arbitration or any other legal proceeding, you must serve T-Mobile's registered agent, Corporation Service Company, which can be contacted at 1-855-898-6293

You are correct that by paying more upfront and buying services in bulk can be cost effective. If you get a second, could you provide me the phone number for Mint Mobile customer support or a link to their retail store finder?

"Offer subject to change without notice" means they can end a deal before you sign up for the deal. It doesn't mean they can change an offer after the fact.

Also... Why do you think they made that change to force arbitration shortly before they started violating the terms of their own agreement? In case you don't understand it the reason is because it forces customers to individually file a case over the violation instead of filing a class action suit. Filing an individual suit over a $10 a month increase in violation of T-Mobile's own terms isn't financially feasible given the cost of lawyers and filing fees.

at the moment, all T-Mobile plans come with a 5 Year price plan guarantee from the start of service
for their base plan. Tmo has been shady and raising their "regulatory" fees

Includes: Physical store support, 5G Standalone, 5G UC, 5G UC Calling(VoNR), 60 day unlock policy. Visible: Does not include postpaid roaming, does not have 5G Standalone, Does not have physical stores for support, Virtual support only(Email or chat), 1 year unlock policy.Metro: Supports everything T-Mobile direct does but has limited Corporate stores and more Authorized dealers who can be less helpful, 1 year unlock policy.Google Fi: Terrible support, 256k data throttle after premium data used(worse than every T-Mobile MVNO).
@Vic121 what about US Mobile, Total by Verizon, Mint Mobile by Tmobile, Boost Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile by Comcast

not a deal value wise but some people need the ability to go in store and get in person help. for those folks, this is a deal.

Just switched away from T-Mobile and won't be going back. 3 price hikes in under a year, then forced us onto a plan we didn't ask for and raised the price even more. Switched to Verizon and went from $347 a month for 6 lines to $187 a month for the same 6 lines, with price guarantee for 3 years.
