Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

I've had this model for about 3 years, I've used it mostly for hiking, sometimes pullups/pushups/etc, but for fast movements it's a little "floppy" and can loosen.

For just 20# it's a lot of body coverage and not very breathable -- I'm considering replacing it with more of an X-shaped one (the more common design now).

I've had this one for several years now as well and would agree with the other comments. Not the best weighted vest in the world, but does the trick. Perfect for hiking or walking, but definitely not great if there's a ton of movement involved in your exercise.

Harder work Smilie

It's better than a backpack/ruck in some ways, since it's evenly spread across your torso and not just on your back. I've put a 25# plate in a regular backpack and it wasn't great. OTOH, proper ruck packs and plates are pricey.

Just wondering why the vest posts say CAP Barbell? Nobody's sticking an entire barbell in these things are they?

"You might be doing it wrong"

This is the 2nd post I've seen for a CAP Barbell weighted vest so didn't seem like just a typo. Thought it was kind of obvious with the added "You might be doing it wrong" but I guess not to some people.
