See previous thread. A version of This power bank had a recall , this specific one didn't . I love this power bank , I bought it over a year ago for $14 I bought another last sale , but some people were apprehensive because of the recall on the other version.

Actually the other one is still live , not sure why the repost by staff

The power banks are white, pink, or purple. The recalled power banks have model number "VT103" imprinted on the back of the power bank and do NOT contain a serial number on the bottom right corner of the back of the power bank.

What even is VEEKTOMX...? I would never buy a power bank from random made up names like these that just rename themself when there's a recall or problem

I love this charger too... I been using it for a couple weeks. It charges pretty fast and it also provides a fast charge to my phone. Its a steal for 10

The are actually ul and etl certified. This thing is relatively small and fast at charging . I was on vacation last week and used this on the e beach and still didn't have any heat issues . To each their own. Meanwhile my Anker shit the bed

While they didn't recall the black model. I purchased the black version during the time of the recall. Mine was bulging at the bottom case. I double checked that it wasn't a case misalignment and pulled it the apart to ultimately find the battery was bulging slightly. YMMV.
