Its true, It is a great price. It has 2 benefits. Dlss5 with realistic mods in cyberpunk, gta5 and Skyrim. As well as the cheapest card that can run NVFP4 variants of 35b a3b models and nvfp4 minimax h3 models as well as nvfp4 krea2 models. Its twice as fast as 8bit with nearly the same accuracy where it counts. Which benefits image and video as well as a manager ai for generating imagery or a coding assistant to save on claude credits using mcp from web ui to claude code. Claude being the orchestrator/verifier. So yeah $600 to save $200/mo (180 if you get 20/mo claude) and to generate fast high quality imagery. Pffft about the most interesting thing out there right now.

you'd need to run at 6x frame gen for dlss5 for 60-70 fps average for those realistic cyberpunk faces at the cost of artifacting and latency - it'll get better over time but the fact that we're seriously talking about 6x frame gen as a "norm" is nuts

Currently weighing this against getting two V100 32GB for around the same price... or gambling on the CMP 170HX 8GB and unlocking 60-80GB on one 30 series card.
Problem is, these have to all run external over a PCIe switch and two 5060 Tis will hate sharing one PCIe 4.0 1.1x lane.
Qwen 3.8 27B with DeepSeek Harness is an absolute beast, though. Getting 40-80tps with a 5070 Ti and 4070 Super combo on llama.cpp in Windows.
Good deal, considering the market. This the cheapest nvfp4 Blackwell GPU that can run MiniMax H3 and some other motion models that is useable.
In some cases, it makes my AMD Radeon 32GB Radeon R9700 pale by comparison despite the VRAM deficiency. So many AI video workflows are optimized for Blackwell CUDA.
Ordered One. To add my fleet of GPUs.
