This is a pretty good deal if you want to purchase through Amazon. The very recent HD and Lowes deals are essentially similar albeit with a slower charger and a second battery.

I have this Jig Saw, and it is one of my most used tools, other than the drill. I bought it on a whim, and it is my go-to tool for cutting wood and metal. I have a corded router, and I started making signs but would love the cordless router. IMHO this is an excellent way to get into woodworking without breaking the bank.

These things have great power but they are pretty heavy. Pretty good deal. The router is stellar but you need big hands. I use the jigsaw once in a while to cut curves. I think mines cuts at a slight bevel at 90 detent Frown , not sure how to adjust it. The dewalt package is usually barebones. No dust collection or edge guides. I think there was a deal for an edge guide a week ago. If you are building cabinets and you you want to put in a slot for a backpanel for your cabinet carcass , an edge guide is handy. Without an edge guide its still pretty good for edge bevels and roundovers and probably flushing trimming .

Pretty good deal considering if you had to purchase these items independently. Great for the average DIYer with reliability over other brands. So far Dewalt has not let me down but I also take care of my stuff.
