If you compare it's breakaway power side by side with a milwaukee, I'd say it's closer to a mid torque(I have both). But it's still a pretty good deal. If you're working on rusty siezed in bolts, get a milwaukee. If you're lucky and don't see much rust, this will be perfect!

Mine doesn't seem to have that. The milwaukee took the nut right off first try though. All I was doing was taking the 2 mount bolts off of a brake caliper on my 03 duramax. Edit: i do live in the rust belt, and I did take that bolt off before. I used an impact to put it on, so it was definately tighter than it needed to be. Long story short I would put the high torque ridgid somewhere halfway to 3/4 the power of the newest high torque milwaukee impact. Probably about 3/4.

Sounds like you either got a dud or are using it with too small/weak of a battery or have it on the wrong setting. This should typically spin off caliper bolts with ease.

Depends on the model, the Milwaukee 2967-20 is more powerful. It's 4th on TTC's ranking vs 21st for the Ridgid. The 2767-20 is the older Milwaukee high torque…and it ranks 25th.

I mean, the milwaukee i used is the newest high torque they make. And I was comparing this ridgid to the newest milwaukee high torque impacts(saying it's somewhere between the 50-75% range of milwaukee's newest ht impact, probably closer to 75%). But ok
