I bought a different 2 pack that looked higher quality and they have hiss or worse they seem to go into some sort of aggressive power saving mode in between the spaces of spoken words. There's a delay between it starting back up so you miss out on half the next word. Basically: the giant caterpillar, sentence turns into, the .. ant .. pillar.

I wanted to avoid getting the apple ones due to how thin the wire looks, but id probably get more use out of those even if they break sooner.

The 2-pack I bought was branded TIPSEAN, but they look like these. Paid $2.09 plus tax for the 2 pack on Jan 24, 2026. Mine work perfectly.

Edit: here's the sd post

I wanted one to try out IEM for the first time and picked up this one for $10. The chipset is the same as Fioo J11A and you can update the firmware on it following steps in one of the reviews. It's a lot more to spend but good for $10 if audio quality is a concern.

these noname solutions.

cheaper than the local dollar store solutions. Comes in handy when you are in a pinch to use these. 30days to try and return. will gamble.

For hifi music, I'd spend more on something like this: https://a.co/d/0dgesRkt
Edit: Now I realize that an earlier poster said the same thing. My bad.

Doesn't the standard iPhone USB C to AUX adapter actually have a very high quality DAC built into it? I recall reading glowing reviews of its capabilities.

Black ugreen one has been the most stable one for me after going through no name brands, along with the anker, Apple and Google versions.

i've gotten this actual one and few other no name brands as well as Apple ones since I sleep with wired old school iPhone 5 earphones. The issue with these, for me at least, is that they don't get very quiet, even with the DAC. Yes, the apple ones are more prone to failing eventually but better on the quietest levels if that's important to you.

This is normal pricing for this kind of adapter.
