No clue. I'm not sure a phone will send the juice out it needs. Might need a separate power source.

Ok, need some help/suggestions. Mine came in today. I can get my phone to connect to it fine. However when I try to connect my laptop it powers on but can't get it to display a signal. Have tried working in display settings, restarting, checking for driver updates via device manager, nothing. I did not install the software that you can download from the AOC website yet.

I am using a USB A to USB C cable. Not sure if that's the issue. I leave for a trip in a few days. Do you think I should get an HDMI to HDMI mini adapter? Or try buying a newer USB A to USB C cable (mine is currently about 6 years old.

Ended up ordering these HDMI to HDMI mini U adapters. Figure it'll help me keep the cable out of the way, and I know my HDMI port works. So will just need external power for the monitor via one of the USB Cs. Laptop is old, so I'm hoping that's just the issue. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C339Y...yp_imgToDp
