I had high hopes for McDonalds earlier this year when it was reported their sales were way down and they were going to revamp their menu to make it more affordable. So far, all I've seen is the things I buy get more expensive. I rarely go anymore. If it isn't a deal in the app, I definitely am not paying their normal prices, but even the deals aren't that great a deal anymore. The Big Mac meal deal was $6 in the app. Now it's $9 (If they even have it). 50% increase. They do still have 2 for $6 Sausage Egg McMuffins and then I can use the 99 cent any size drink (like an iced coffee) for breakfast. That's about all I get anymore.

But to be honest, Jack in the Box is worse. Lunch for 2 is well over $30.

I'm so old I remember when you could get the whole meal- hamburger,fries and drink for $1. A fish sandwich by itself was 35 cents.
