I bought a couple of refurbished phone 11s from woot a couple of years ago. One had lowish battery capacity and the other had a minor issue with the screen. I contacted them, shipped the 2 phones back, and they sent me 2 more refurbished phones. They're not perfect, but they're still working.
Could I grab one of these then use it (max trade-in) to upgrade to the new 18 Pro?

Not sure who your provider is, but I just tried on my AT&T account and seems legit.
But I would double check with your local store and see if they can confirm. Their site sometimes does weird stuff.

Right & you have to commit to 3 years and probably be on their most expensive monthly plan.
whether it's Woot, marketplace, or a flea market, the prices are complete garbage. I was looking for an old device to use as a trade-in, and sellers are asking $150+ for scratched-up phones wtf

Also consider that the iPhone 14 is the last flagship model/series with the lightning connector.
