i'm printing something right now and prusaslicer says it's reaching 188mm/sec for this particular print with a .4mm high flow nozzle, .25mm layer height and its perfect. My max volumetric speed is at 21. I've had issues if i print too fast on like the speed setting, but I stick with balanced and had no issues.

Kingroon PETG is a low-cost bulk filament that shines for everyday prints like storage bins, shelves, and prototypes, with a finish that looks good once dialed in. Black and white rolls print well, bond strongly to textured PEI, and can even work without hairspray when the printer is tuned. The main catch is speed and setup, since pushing it too fast can dull the gloss, increase curling, and expose profile or calibration issues. It is a practical 10 kilogram option if surface perfection and true high-speed printing are not the priority.
The black PETG can produce a shiny finish when printed at appropriate temperatures and speeds.
The PETG can bond strongly to textured PEI when hairspray is used for bed prep.
The filament can print well for prototyping when drying at 70C for 7-8 hours and using balanced speeds.
The coupon can work after a second attempt, bringing the total to about $52 for the deal.
AliExpress pricing and listing details can be misleading, requiring careful checking of what quantity and material are included.
The listing's advertised 350mm/s speed can apply to PLA rather than PETG, limiting true high-speed expectations.
The PETG can lose gloss and look greyish or matte when pushed to around 100mm/s.
The filament can look worse at higher printing speeds, with slower printing improving appearance.

It will be interesting to see if this actually works with high speed printing (it claims 350mm/sec); all of the existing PETG I have on hand is only rated for 50mm/sec, and really quits working well if I try to push it past 100.

thank you for this OP! i'm about half way on my previous order and this stuff is pretty good. I was hoping this would come back. It's cheap enough to protoype and it prints great. I do dry it at 70C for 7-8 hours just in case. No issues.

this is what i'm printing, it's a Darth Vader helmet for a dog haha. Oh yes I feel like it would be great. I have the 10KG Black petg so it is shiny. I did notice that if you print not as hot you can't limit the shine but its all trial and error. GL
edit: once it's done I'll take another pic outside so you can see under normal light. The printer lights bring out the layer lines a bit but yeah the thicker your layer height more you'll see it but that's all 3d printers
edit: op I didn't mean you btw, hope I didn't offend 👊

The difference is noticable, HOWEVER, for solid-color bins, I would use this no problem. At $50 for 10 rolls, I would recommend giving it a shot and seeing if you find it acceptable. If not, I'm sure you could find other uses for it, where surface quality isn't critical.

For those on the fence, try it! For $5/kg, this really is a steal!!!

Bond to the bed is excellent with a textured PEI and hairspray (cheap, easy, fast). Shrinkage is ~0.3% when printed at 230C.
