Sometimes I find deals for a mid to lower phone for my mom. But forget it for new flagship phones if you aren't on their top tier unlimited plan.

I guess if you only need talk and text it might be a "deal". But any reasonable amount of data usage will easily exceed these tiers.

Also Fwiw to anyone interested in this plan they don't offer it anymore and only grandfathered customers that already had it can stay on it...for now

i went from xfinity (iphone 15PM) to usmobile, now im shopping around again. xfinity used to offer it's existing customers discounts as a rewards offer. not anymore

i'm looking at a data only plan offered by shield internet for $15/mo physical sim only. dont need phone or text since im using google voice exclusively for those. but im waiting for a deal on a s26u to use a physical sim. until then i can use my moto stylus 2025 from metro when it unlocks later this month

High likely that Xfinity won't let you stack both offers. I have one free year of mobile select and I am seeing that the purchase will require a new line activation within 30 days,

Their trade-in program is a scam. They took my three iPhone 14 Pro phones. I received an email approving the full trade-in value to be applied to my monthly bill, but I never received it. After many calls with customer service, it all felt like a waste of time. I would look somewhere else

I think this is a pretty good deal - I was with xFinity before but switched to T-Mobile but I've had enough of them. Unfortunately, I don't really see much of an advantage with or reason to upgrade to the iPhone 18 - especially not for the 36 months everyone seems to be offering.

I somehow ended up with eleven lines on By The Gig. $20 data. $23 taxes and fees. About $43/month all in. Less than $4 a line. If you're usually on WiFi it's fantastic. If you have an unlocked phone, you can use prepaid eSIM data for a couple of bucks a gig instead of the much more expensive Xfinity data. My lines are mostly for older folks that don't use much data, and I've paid about $60 extra for data this year. Like others have said, there are no phone deals on this plan, but 36 months before unlocking is a huge negative for me. I don't need eleven lines, but the extras are nice for throwaways or to park an old landline number or even a deceased person's line. I have two lines on my phone as backups. Unless something changes with Xfinity's new phone deals, "new" phones will come from other carrier deals or used purchases.

$1100 divided by $150 (amount you save with Xfinity) is 7.333. Or 8 months of service until you start coming out ahead with Xfinity. There are better ways to go about this though. Stetson Doggett on YouTube does good breakdowns on getting the best deals on phone plans and phones. Basically, for iPhones, trade in with Apple or sell online or locally, and sign up with a low cost prepaid carrier. Even though you're foregoing the larger trade in value you still come out ahead eventually.

Agreed. Last year I begrudgingly moved my five lines from a legacy plan to their "premium unlimited" with the "on us" deal, trading in some older phones. Now I see this year they've made all of their new plans more expensive and even with my "premium" unlimited I can't get the best offer like they promised last year, AND they require 36 month device payment plan?I would've upgraded from my 17 Pro but I am not paying $15/month/line MORE for 36 months for the same service to get what I was supposed to get last year. I've been with XM since shortly after it was released and it's gotten worse nearly every year. I think I'll just stick to my $30/month "premium unlimited" for awhile and then regroup in a year when all these devices are paid off.

Reach out to them on Reddit. Four of my five I traded in last year processed fine, but the fifth one never processed. I called them multiple times, getting transferred all over with them giving me some nonsense about my account being "locked." Finally after almost a year I got it straightened out after messaging them on Reddit.
