Customer Service and Tech support disappear after the first week of being up and running. They suggest you 'crowdsource' your problem on the Internet or their forums. If you can live with that, the porting of numbers is fast and painless. And changing phones is just move the SIM they send you to the new phone, launch their app, and it immediately works. I don't know how to do it with an eSIM.
I'm currently paying $30.50/month for two lines; that will double in three months when my 'deal' ends, and I haven't yet decided whether I will stay with them. Wherever I go, it has to be a T-Mobile subcontractor - they're the only ones with service at my place, and only because long ago they gave me a microcell for the house that just needs one bar coming in to put five bars out.
That was not my experience.
Originally, my promo did not go through. I got on a chat & was told a)new customer + b) w no other promotions (which *does* include phone deals wo monthly bill deductions) = Eligible. Just give them 24- 48 hrs to correct the account.
Hearing nothing after 2 days I had another chat. Was told they were slammed. But give them some time. Eventually it showed up in my promotions.
Keeping it real, ALL the carriers' customer service is a hot mess. It's all about how worthwhile their service is.
If 90% of the people wo codes are ineligible, then 1 in 10 has a shot at a nice deal here. I for 1 am glad I went for it.

Did you subscribe and see your order change? Or did the page/plans pricing update before you pulled the trigger ?

But the billing page says my -75% promotion is in progress & did even before I activated. Before my actual billing. Whenever I got billed it said how much for my full plan, taxes & fees plus the amount deducted for my -75% promo.
My referral bonus is also listed as being in progress. But it hasn't activated yet.
You have 30 days to activate. Anyone who has the time can wait it out until everything is corrected.
Almost all carriers are a hot mess, but Tello and US Mobile are actually pretty good. Google CS is an absolute dumpster fire of incompetence, though.

The promo was not showing up because I had ordered and cancelled a pixel phone, which was hung in their system. A "manager" promised to handle it after I signed up. I gave it a try, and they indeed corrected it, but I handled everything through email so the agent had the context.
I haven't really had any issues except an issue on Android where it would drop into emergency calls only when coming off wifi calling. The issue somewhat disappeared lately on my s24u, so likely a bug.

I'm glad you were able to work it out, and actually somewhat shocked that they resolved it. There are very few times that I've heard of them actually coming through for someone and fixing it.

I had service outage(s) almost daily. My best speed after everything averaged about 5 mbps (at 3AM). It took 2-1/2hrs to get an Amazon confirmation one day.
I'm tech savvy enough to know the troubleshooting drill for myself. But dootifully replayed it all over & over again on command. I made every contact w current stat updates & continued to get treated like I was an idiot calling in for the first time.
After weeks of their so-called support I was told that the towers in all the zip codes of both my surrounding states were just bad. :/
That would be the same towers that my Google Fi data has clocked speeds of 100+mbps at "rush hour" congestion.
It was $10/mo & I finished the 3 mos to let my referral have their bonus. But never, ever again.
Tello & Redpocket give me the same animosity as you seem to have for Fi. I think we all have one of those lists. Each justified by their own litany of horrors.
Unfortunately internet & phone providers really are just a necessary Evil.
