This headlight restoration kit is aimed at clearing cloudy lenses with an easy, all in one process, and the included instructions and warranty support stand out. The kit is described as simple to follow, with everything needed in the box, and it reportedly worked on a 2019 Acura MDX headlight starting to cloud. The ceramic coating is the main draw, but the long term durability is questioned, with stronger alternatives like wet sanding, motorized buffing, or a 3M drill kit called out as more effective. A dependable basic option if convenience matters more than maximum longevity.
Common Questions (5)
The included coating is not the same as a true ceramic or 2K clear-coat repair. Real ceramic protection can last much longer, while 2K clear is described as the longest-lasting option; the kit's coating may still yellow over time and may not match those results.
It can be used by hand, but the comments say hand-only kits often do not work as well unless you have something motorized to buff with. A drill kit or polisher makes the job easier and can produce better results with less labor.
Yes. Wet sanding is described as the key step for leveling the lens and removing micro-scratches before coating, and it can be paired with a sealant or clear coat for longer-lasting results.
A 3M kit is described as the better buy at a similar price, with better scratch removal and overall results when done properly. The TABOUNTS kit is called not worth it even at 50% off compared with the 3M option.
Yes. The kit includes the cleaning spray, ceramic coating, sponge, and towel, and it is described as easy to follow for a headlight that is starting to cloud. It can be used as a complete starter kit without buying extra parts.

My go to is multi step wet sanding (1000 - 1500 - 2000 - 2500) and then hitting the lens with Chemical Guys V34 followed by V38 and then the sealant of choice. The V34 cleared up everything the TW kit left behind including a slight yellow hue remaining and gets them crystal clear every time!
