That's okay, a flint torch ignitor is always more badass to use with these anyway. These are pretty loud and neighbors will hear you. I would only use this for weeds in between the rocks or cracks, not worth a fire hazard otherwise. Good for starting charcoal and firepits too though

This doesn't work for all weeds. I've burnt the hell some weeds growing on the driveway and they only grew back a few weeks later. you need to kill the roots, which this wont do. it requires home made salt/vinegar/soap mix or industrial mix.

To use these most effectively on weeds you don't burn them completely, you just pass over it enough to wilt it dark green rupturing the cells in the exposed plant material. After that the roots will descicate instead of sending up new growth. Works very well for me. You may have to repeat after a couple weeks for a few very deep established weeds.

Quit burning the weeds. As you say, they just grow back. What you want to do is singe the weeds. Done right the weed looks like it did but the surface will look shiny. The weed spends all it's energy trying to fix the damage and dies. Come back in a week and you have dead weeds, you can burn those out if you want--if there's any issue of seeds I always burn them out once they're dead.

Farm chemical gets the roots. Vinegar kills quickly, but often doesn't kill roots. Farm chemical is #1.

FWIW these also work in my experience for getting older (mostly Carbureted or TBI) engines started after sitting a while. It is cheaper than starter fluid, and less messy, and lasts much longer.

One person cranks the engine, the other gives a small squeeze on this a few inches away from the intake (just propane--no flame). Air and Fuel (Propane) goes in and if there is spark the engine will spin up. Then you can fine tune the gas flow by squeezing the handle more or less or clamping the handle and adjusting the valve if its a tank.

Instead of killing your battery/starter cranking over and over this will let you get it started with a few cranks and figure what else is going on.I started a vehicle that sat for years I was interested in due to its uniqueness, let it warm up off of the propane and eventually work off of its terrible gas, but once running on its own and I learned that it had a number of other issues: Blown head gasket, transmission was shot, smog pump seized, only 1 window regulator worked and AC compressor was bad. The owner pitched me a much lower price.

Disclaimer- Do at your own risk, and only a small propane release is needed. You do not need to dump the wide open valve into the engine, maybe an 1/16th to 1/8th of a handle squeeze is needed - If the torch makes the roaring noise its way too much.
