It absolutely is an ongoing trend to call something that's used by any other name. It's misleading and genuinely incorrect. But this post isn't about WallyWorld, WurstBye, OldChicken, etc. It's about THIS seller calling THIS product "refurbished". Let's keep it ontrack and ontopic, mmmk?
And a power test + wipe down isn't a refurbishment, no matter how you spin it. Nothing is being actually refurbished. I don't trust the seller AND it's not actually refurbished -- doesn't need to be mutually exclusive!
The seller explicitly states that the units were "inspected, cleaned, repaired", and eBay has an actual Good - Refurbished condition category. You may not consider the seller's refurbishment process sufficient to meet your personal standard, but that's different from establishing that the seller simply wiped these machines down and resold them.
You're essentially taking "I don't trust this seller's refurbishment process" and converting it into "I know what they did to these units." The former is an opinion; the latter requires evidence.
And if you have that evidence, e.g. documentation showing that these units were only power-tested and wiped down, I'd genuinely be interested in seeing it. Otherwise, we're debating your assumption about the refurbishment process rather than the actual listing. If you can't provide any such evidence, then don't bother commenting and ruining this thread for other members considering buying this.

I have zero need to prove anything to you. And you probably wouldn't believe anything I say, right? That makes the entire exercise pointless and just a personal attack. Please stop conducting yourself towards me like this, it's growing tiresome.
I have tried to steer things back on topic here, only for you to attempt to derail it time and time again.
But I'll personally digress for once: That's not to say anything of getting a multitude of post reply notifications from you which hit my inbox (in past threads), only for the posts to be gone when I open them to view them in-thread. (And the previews weren't nice -- incredibly berating messages, at best. Insulting at worst.) You'd think I wouldn't notice, but I did. I don't what the point of that is, and as curious as I am as to your mindset and intent, I ultimately don't need you to explain. Only to stop.
