If I currently have Mint and port my number out to a different carrier for a month can I then port my number back in as a new customer?

Or have my wife sign us up?

My mom has had mint mobile for years and it's worked well. Mint is a reseller for T-Mobile network so if you have good T-Mobile coverage in your area then you should have good Mint coverage.

Back in May I switched from mint to visible. I will most likely switch back to mint next May assuming they have a similar promo. Visible I got more high speed data and hot spot (which I don't use much of) but In public places (stores restaurants etc) my data really gets throttled unlike Mint did for me. I was with mint 4-5 years and normally end of the year your service is ending you ask for a discount on the 360$ they wanted and you get one but this year they would not and visible had 225$ I believe for the highest tier plan so I switched. Mint imo is a much better service than what I have now.

Since Visble (verizon) and Mint (tmo) use different towers, it's even "likely" to have different levels of service. A customer in a different location could have the exact opposite experience.
