Community Reviews

These Grade A refurbished Apple phones and watches can be a strong value when the unit is clean and fully functional, with some iPhone 13 mini and watch purchases arriving in great shape and even showing 100 percent battery health. The main appeal is lower pricing on newer Apple gear, but battery condition is a recurring concern, especially on Apple Watch Ultra and older iPhones. Several units arrived with heavy scratches, dents, dead batteries, or activation problems from blacklisted IMEIs. A one year warranty and easy returns help, but the refurb grading looks inconsistent.

$265 for ultra 1 seems pretty cool. Just wish the batteries were refreshed; "at least 85% health" is spooky.

Beware

Apple confirmed that the first-generation Apple Watch Ultra will not receive the watchOS 27 update

What's the chance these have batteries that are better than 85% health? I've had one less than that from Woot before.

Battery replacement at the Apple store is $89 for the IPhone 13 and older versions. It's $99 for IPhone 14 and newer. It's free if you've got Apple Care and the battery health is below 80%.

This is true. Well regarded tech reviewers say you'll just miss out on using Siri AI and security updates. If those aren't important

Assume battery health is at its end. Maybe not. It's a $265 gamble

Fun fact: Apple exec Phil Schiller once said the plural form of iPhone is "iPhone."

Replacement battery for a watch though is to get a new watch. No joke, it's insanely expensive. I checked for a series 5 and it was the cost of a new watch.

Replacing the battery in an Apple Watch is relatively easy I just replaced the one in my SE $5 battery

Picked up a 16e for mom. She's currently on a 12 mini and very frustrated with battery life.

I've purchased two 'Grade A' refurbished 13 Minis from Woot. The return process was trivial and was no questions asked. They were returned as I found them to be nowhere near Grade A (lots of dings and dents on the aluminum).
