Windows will use 3-8 GB of memory at idle. A heavy chrome/edge session adds 4-6 GB. Teams/Zoom is another 1 GB. Office apps are typically well under 1 GB each unless you've got a massive spreadsheet open.
If you're doing photo/video editing, large Excel workbooks, local AI, etc. you should skip this. For everyone else, it's fine.
just bought this one and the 16gb of Ram hasn't been noticeably bad. Obviously depends on what you want to do. The biggest draw is the OLED screen, it's phenomenal.
Windows will use 3-8 GB of memory at idle. A heavy chrome/edge session adds 4-6 GB. Teams/Zoom is another 1 GB. Office apps are typically well under 1 GB each unless you've got a massive spreadsheet open.

if you're only checking email or maybe 1 or 2 tabs then this one should be fine.. but for productivity work in web browser tabs.. it's way too slow.. wish I knew this before I dropped all the money on it. I paid $1600 brand new when it released in April (for the 32GB RAM version) with 2TB SSD
