Community Reviews
These Ball regular mouth mason jars are a solid canning and storage option, especially for people who process a lot or need jars for curing and storing buds. The regular mouth design is said to seal more easily than wide mouth, which can matter for pickles and other canned foods. The main caution is that newer Ball jars and lids have a reported reputation for more breakage or seals failing after a few days. The listed reference price also looks inflated, so the deal is better viewed as a decent price than a stock up opportunity.
Common Questions (4)
Regular-mouth jars tend to seal more easily, while wide-mouth jars can be harder to seal for canning and pickles. Wide-mouth jars are still fine for quick pickling and are easier to fill, but regular-mouth is the safer pick if sealing reliability matters.
Yes, the $13.44 deal is below the Walmart MSRP of $16.42 and well below the $31+ reference price shown in the listing. The jars are also described as usually selling around $18.99 or less, so the deal is solid even if the reference price looks inflated.
They work for canning, but newer Ball jars and lids have been reported to have more breakage and weaker sealing than older ones. For heavy canning use, this is a decent buy, but not a strong stock-up price if you want multiple cases.
Yes, they are described as a good jar for curing and storing buds. The rounded Ball style is specifically recommended for that use, and similar Ball jars are also noted as available at Target.

I have been hearing that people have had more breakage while canning than they are used to with newer jars made in the past 2 years or so. Also the reputation of ball lids is trending down as well with many reports of jars not sealing or losing the seal after a few days. I do not have any first hand experience with either issue but I have not bought new jars lately and i switched to superb lids a few years ago.
