These Ball regular mouth mason jars are a solid canning and storage option, especially for people who process a lot or need jars for curing and storing buds. The regular mouth design is said to seal more easily than wide mouth, which can matter for pickles and other canned foods. The main caution is that newer Ball jars and lids have a reported reputation for more breakage or seals failing after a few days. The listed reference price also looks inflated, so the deal is better viewed as a decent price than a stock up opportunity.
The regular-mouth jars can seal more easily during canning, which helps reduce sealing friction.
The deal can be especially useful for people who can a lot and want more jars on hand.
The jars can work well for quick pickling, with no sealing problems reported for that use case.
The jars can be a good option for curing and storing buds, based on reported real-world use.
The listing's "original MSRP" may be inflated, since Walmart pricing and other observed reference prices are lower.
The wide-mouth style can be harder to seal for pickles, which may lead to reprocessing and softer, mushier results.
Canning performance may be weaker because these jars and lids reportedly do not seal as easily for canning.
Breakage and lid performance concerns may affect canning outcomes, including reports of increased breakage and seals failing after a few days.

If you are canning… they don't seal as easily.
