This is a very lightweight summer running hat with UPF 50 plus sun coverage and a longer bill that helps shade the eyes and face. Tossed mine in the wash twice and it was fine. I got it last time, I definitely got my $7 worth, wore it while washing the car and it definitely sucked away the sweat. Flimsy it may be, but that's what hats like this are for, it's got plenty of utility and the moisture stains / sweat stains wash away.
All these poly caps are designed to be light which someone can view as "flimsy". We own several different brands of these "running" caps from big name brands and this is par for the course.
I like that the bill is longer. The main reason I bought the white one (white color reflects most). I use it every week for the beach and gardening to block more sun with that slightly longer bill. I'm a really big sweater and this absorbs from getting into my eyes. I like it and for the sale price I'm pleased. 👍

It's a sun hat for running. Works great for me!
If someone has a better deal for a hat that's basically throw away - mine gets so nasty and I've had many bad experience washing hats with a bill.
