Energy Take Classic is a passive 5.1 speaker system that can sound surprisingly strong for the money, especially in a medium sized room with a proper AVR and subwoofer. The small 3.5 inch woofers lean on the included sub for bass, and the setup has been described as a soundbar killer when paired with receivers like the Yamaha RX V385 or Denon AVR S270BT. The main catch is that no receiver is included, so it needs an amplifier or AVR before it can be used. It is a solid budget surround option if you already have the gear to drive it.

I was going to get for another room. I have Klipsch but always heard good stuff about Energy. Now, I'm feeling as if this would just be a waste that I'd be unhappy with in a separate room
