getting a used folding phone is a risky proposition. if you are leaning this way id get it from ebay on one of the sellers that include the allstate 2yr warranty. they go for about the same price for similar samsung/motorola phones

Stepmother's, who is SUPER gentle with her phone, also broke at the 18 month mark. The ribbon cable breaks and the repair is an insane job. If I'm not mistaken, the ribbon cable is soldered to the screen so even if you're inclined to DIY repair, this one is outside of most peoples leagues. Stay away!
try to always buy a phone with a warranty, i bought an lg probably 7-8 years ago and 8 months later it completely stopped reading my SIM and other SIMS. nothing i could do and I was out about $350. i believe paypal only offered a 6 month warranty from the ebay auction
