Going to give them a try. I have some Insignia trackers I got for the same price that work great. The 1 star reviews are all from people who don't understand how these tracker work.

What makes you think all the 1 star are operator error?

Sorting reviews by most recent shows a lot of 1 ⭐:

"Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2026
Size: 4 Pack-Black&White
It will lost showing location after 5 hrs of pairing. You have to go manually activate it again before it can keep track. Don't buy it."

"One quit working in under a month.

The chime is barely detectable, too quiet. One quit working in under a month."

"Definitely not worth it

Thought I was getting a deal on air trackers. I should have known better. Didn't work. Never paired with either of the two different iPhones I had. Returned them and bought the more expensive Apple Trackers. They paired instantly and work perfectly"

given it's $10 for a 4 pack, but if they are not reliable they are worthless

You picked all the ones that don't have to do with location. Most one star reviewers complained about it not showing location from home because it only works a certain distance, not updating often enough etc. All has to do with how these trackers work. But you can interpret these reviews however you want. I made my choice, you make yours.

I got this in a past deal for the same price. Put a couple of them on my elderly parents phone and keys. So far they are fine for general location tracking. No complaints especially considering how cheap they are.

Don't buy these no name trackers. They usually work fine, but consume a lot of battery. Last year, i bought 2 different no-names, both of them need to replace batteries every month. But another reliable brand last at least 6 months for batteries.

Genuinely curious why you'd need to put this on their phones and how? The bulk seems weird and smartphones can be tracked already. I look after my father who loses and drops everything all the time so any new ideas would be helpful.

I disagree. I have had 4 Insignia trackers I got from a Slickdeal. They're coming up on a year and are still running on the original battery. Very similar to my OEM Apple AirTags. I'll bet you that all these low cost Chinese trackers are exactly the same little circuit board, controller and antennas inside.

I just got these here. Seem fine to me. One reviewer claimed that there is no button, which is incorrect. There is one in the center of the back. I installed one in the battery compartment of a scooter. It works fine so far. Beeps louder than any other tracker I have had. Can't speak for position reporting or battery life yet obviously.
