The one nice thing about this charger is that it dedicates up to 70W to the first port, so your laptop usually won't refuse to charge because the wattage is too low when shared (such as 45+45W).

But if the first port doesn't need 70W, it'll still share it fully.

So sorry that yours burned. In fact it was your white toaster made in 1974, USA.

There are a lot of unfamiliar brand chargers which have been made with dodgy components and there are reports of ones catching fire (See Bigclive on YouTube.) Most if not all of these charger deals lack UL or ETL or similar certifications on them. This appears to have the Mexican certification of NOM so do your own research as to if that's enough for you.

And if it happens within 30 days you can still return it for a refund!

https://www.tomshardware.com/pict....htmlOlder posts, but basically some of the look alike and cheap chargers "do a thing" but are very poorly engineered. Especially at these higher wattages (higher heat) in tighter casings, the tolerances are minimal between safe and a meltdown/fire.

Because these are not Lenovo products nor related so you have to wonder what else the product is lying about

I imagine that these are made out of components swept off the factory floor and other leftovers. 🧹
