The new 'big boy' Predator generator is on sale Saturday Oct 3rd for $1100
Amazing deal for a 500cc engine, the only thing that sucks is the CO Sensor, but otherwise this would be a good whole-house generator for most medium sized homes.

Nice not having a carburetor though.

I would assume this would follow the same pattern; but we won't know until some youtuber or HVAC guy measures it.

All your phone chargers and laptops can run on any voltage from 100vac to 250vac and anywhere from 50 to 60hz. No voltage adapters needed.
But to run your whole house, you need a big, regular generator that can run for 1000s of hours.

So it's possible that California versions got delivered first.

Even if it was 25% THD, that still would not hurt any 'sensitive electronics'.
Back 4 or 5 decades ago, there were generators that would spit out 39hz, and would cause some jobsite motors to overheat. I haven't seen one of those in forever.
Use some common sense with any generator:
Don't have ANY load connected when you shut-down or start-up
Don't use motorized tools that don't have thermal protection built in
If you have some antique electronics that were made before universal power supplies became standard; just don't use them during the power failure.
Look at the HZ meter on the generator. It should read 61-63hz with no load, then 59-60 under load. As you keep turning stuff on, if the hz drops to like 54hz or lower, you may be overloading the generator (unplug some stuff and try to keep the hz around 60).

If you take the cover off of the sensor, the circuit board itself is labeled.
I can give you the pin-out if you need it.
