Check with the program you are using. Zoom caps at 1080 so this might not result in an improvement in dpi. I own it and the auto-bright feature results in a much more balanced video in terms of brightness compared to the OEM one in my laptop and my even older USB-A one.

4k is probably a bit overkill for a webcam, even with a deal. The vast majority will do fine with a more reasonably priced, but still quality, 1080p webcam
