I haven't had any issues with my impact, and they're stronger than the Craftsman impact bits I bought 8 years ago and the case is nicer than the cheap, plastic one I got that was falling apart, which was my reason for wanting one of these in the first place.
In my testing, Milwaukee bits were slightly better for lasting longer, but not a great price all the time. If it's just the standard bulk bits, you'll be fine enough, but things could have changed since then, but I've thrown out very few DeWalt bits, and I had to go through my Craftsman bits frequently. The Ryobi bits I had couldn't handle even putting a homemade shelf together. I still have the set, but I wouldn't trust them with my impacts.
I built this DIY shed with the Craftsman bits and I was almost guaranteed to destroy a bit within so many screws, and I had maybe one DeWalt bit from the bulk, round pack go bad in the amount of time I'd generally go through 4 or 5 of the others. So I should never have to worry about going through all my bits, just worry about finding the small packs. This stays with me at all times. There's even bit holders for the DeWalt belt clip location.
