6k/8k Ultra HD...that's a laugh. I have a couple of these boxes and they could only dream to stream anything resembling quality 4k. With that said, still a pretty good deal for the money.

It's a streaming box that's meant for illegally obtaining media and comes preloaded with piracy apps. Yes, you could just load those on a generic Google TV box (or a PC), but some people will pay for convenience, even among pirates.

I'm not a tech guy. Idk how exactly it works but I have a friend of mine that swears by this. He can watch anything in the world just about , shows and movies from any service, sports etc. I had a fire stick set up a year or 2 ago that would do similar but constant spinning circles and interruptions , allegedly with mid grade internet you don't get any of that with these veebox . I am not a lawer allegedly this is 100 percent legal . The person who designed it worked for maybe NASA or similar and figured how to obtain the signal legally . Don't quote me but I been told this story more than once. I have been thinking about getting one.

I saw a YouTube video a few days ago where some guy got one of these and analyzed the network traffic using wireshark. He basically said it's a big security risk, allowed remote execution of code, and would not feel comfortable putting it on his home network. He did the same with a similar streaming box called the "super box" and it also had vulnerabilities but not nearly as bad/many as the vseebox
