Edit: The phone I purchased from this listing could not receive updates. Not through the device settings menu or through Samsung Smart Switch. I am having to ship it back for updates. Phone updates are typically delivered through the carrier not through Samsung when using a carrier model phone. If this was a factory unlocked phone, updates would be delivered though Samsung. IDK, maybe the phone I got was just flawed in some way.
Community Reviews
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is being discussed as a premium unlocked Android phone, with the main draw being Samsung flagship hardware and the chance to stack a Prime Visa discount or a post purchase price adjustment. The deal also looks more attractive if you can catch a price drop quickly, since the seller has adjusted orders after purchase. The main cautions are that the listed 10 percent card offer may be targeted or disappear at checkout, and the phone may be a carrier model rather than factory unlocked, which could affect software updates. At this price, it feels best suited to shoppers who want the Ultra experience and can verify the unlock and promotion details.
Common Questions (4)
The page can show "Earn 10% back on this item when you pay with your Prime Visa," but the offer may disappear at checkout and may be targeted. It is worth checking the cart before relying on the discount.
Some shoppers do not consider it a deal at this price, especially compared with prior Ultra deals and trade-in pricing. A 25 Ultra 512GB was mentioned at $850 during Thanksgiving, and another buyer got a 25 Ultra 1TB for $600 with trade-in.
It may be a carrier model that has been unlocked rather than a true factory-unlocked phone. That can affect how software updates are delivered, with updates potentially coming through the carrier instead of Samsung.
Yes, the order can be price-adjusted if you contact them quickly after a drop. One purchase was adjusted after the seller lowered the price about 30 minutes later.

I'm still using my S8. If the apps were still supported and if 4g lte wasnt going to end soon I'd never upgrade
Then got a S25U 256GB + 4TB 990 Evo Plus SSD bundled for ~$850 on March 6th, 2025.
Those were the days !
