These are ridiculously cushy and soft, however I found them to be pretty unstable; I'd stay away if you have ankle issues. I returned these and kept the Vomero 18s, they are slightly less cushy but way more stable

Took the words right out of my mouth. Got the Plus after getting the 18, and yeah they don't have great lateral stability compared to the 18 which has a mix of ZoomX and React foam.

Yep, I tried them in store but ended up no getting them for the reasons you mentioned

For a long run, these are the choice absolutely… they rocked marathon training this year. If you did have some kind of ankle situation, understandable to go with the standard vomero. Personally I'll never buy regular vomero again only plus.

The V18 plus are great but I find them heavy towards the end of a long run. Ive been using them for recovery runs and using my Adizero Evo SL for long runs now.

Agreed these are running only, for me they are my fastest shoes, but not for walking or casual wear. The foam tampers after a while, I went through 2 pairs of nonmax Vomero, they broke down even faster. Though I'm heavy (not good for Nikes) and run on concrete 15ish miles a week. Good luck.

I also have Bondi 8s, these Nikes are much more soft and cushy. Bondi is a balance between cushion and support.

Bondi's are much more stable for walking. These are better for running, with less lateral stability for walking.

i got a pair of these a little while ago and they are the most comfortable shoe i've ever worn. I tried out the premiums in the store... THOSE are ridiculous. Like walking on pillows. a bit too much, but still pretty unique.
