Has anyone found any of these DC fan motors to ever be compatible with a traditional fan switch? I'm looking at getting a bunch of ceiling fans for investment properties, but basically every cheap DC motor fan I've found requires an app or remote, there's no ability to use the light or fan with traditional wall switch.

Interesting. Didn't know it wouldn't work with traditional wall switch!! Pls can anyone help answer this query.

Yea true, it's easy to lose the remote and can't get replacement,

I have one similar to this. I just purchased it a couple months back. It is compatible with a wall switch. It works just like a traditional ceiling fan but without the chains. I also have mine hooked to a smart switch and works like a normal ceiling fan. I do have the remote sitting by my bedside. I can increase or decrease the fan speed and turn the light on/off with it as well. So I think these will work good. I plan on getting another one to replace in my office. My only concern is longevity. I've seen some reviews where they've quit working over time. Sooner failure rate than good old pull chains. But I'm happy with the one I bought.
