Silly things your pets did today thread

44,792 8,817 May 6, 2010 at 04:43 PM in Humor (2)
i know there's a things your dog ate today thread but i though we need this too.

there's a bunch of things to share that puppy chloe does every day!

today she somehow got the bread loaf off the counter top in the kitchen. she likes to chew up anything paper or plastic. she was starting to rip apart the plastic and left the bread alone.

i had tethered her to the table outside borders when i went in for coffee. i came out and she somehow got one leg out of her harness. i mean, this harness is getting small on her so it's not loose at all!

she's either a genius playing dumb all the time or has someone help her do those things.

Dontknow

No...they are Golden Labs...but the term LabraDorks totally fits them...I have to credit Kel_be with the term.

They do some reallllllly dorky things!
Scratchchin that must be why chloe (half lab but is 'golden' or blonde as i like to call it) is such an airhead and dork.

this morning she got so excited for food she turned her head and banged it against the wall.

Rofl2 she's hit her head more times than i've ever seen anything hit their head.

this isnt so silly, but yesterday evening she was on my bed with me and i was eating pizza and watching tv. she tried to lick my plate and i pushed her away a little. she stopped and tried again and i pushed her lightly again, but the way she was positioned so close to the edge, well.... she fell off and hit the wooden chest i have next to my bed Oops. i apologized a bunch and gave her hugs. she gave me kisses so i know i didnt hurt her too badly Blush

This thread makes me sad Frown. My GF's dog was killed yesterday by a hit and run outside her house and she's devastated. Don't mean to threadcrap but she was balling talking about all the things her dog used to do. I can't believe those farkers would just hit the dog and drive off I hope karma bites them in their farking ass.

what else are the hitnrun people supposed to do? im sorry to say this but it was your gf's fault the dog was hit by a vehicle. the owner was neglegant and did not have the dog on a leash. i guess the driver could have stopped and said i just hit and killed your dog?? other than that nothing could have been done on their part. i see stuff like this happen on judge judy all the time and it IS the owners fault the dog was killed. the poor dog didnt know not to run on the street.

on the brighter side...this corgi is bad a$$ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yD3yVwC0fjg

it's the owners fault the dog is running loose, NOT that it was hit. the owner wasnt driving the farking car!

im just telling you what the law states. you're correct though. its the owners fault the dog was loose and the dogs fault it was hit and killed. the driver was driving his vehicle on a street where cars belong. now if the driver ran through this persons yard and hit the animal thats a different story.

the corgi in the video above is not mine, but got i wish it were. i love those dogs. and yes, i would keep a leash on it so it would not run on the highway.

Aww man, that sucks. If your budget will permit, take your girlfriend to the pound and buy her a new doggy. I know it won't "replace" the other one, but it sure goes a long way toward healing a broken heart and easing the grief.

Here's a way to combine the "silly" and "death" themes of this thread: The other day we heard a commotion in our kitchen while everyone in our house was watching TV but no one got up to look. A little later my wife went into the kitchen to get something to drink and started screaming. I ran in to look and found our Jack Russell lying still on the floor with a Pepperidge Farm Goldfish bag out over his head. He had stuck his head into the bag to get the crumbs at the bottom and the bag had made a perfect seal around his head and was suffocating him. It was so tight that I couldn't get the bag off him and had to tear it open. About the time I was trying to figure out how to give mouth-to-mouth to a dog he popped back to life and started running around the house like nothing had happened! A Pepperidge Farm Goldfish bag had nearly killed my dog!

gotta go OT again so if a person was jogging and the car hit them and took off its the persons fault? NO it's the driver's. it's not the dogs fault someone ran it over. the dog doesnt have a human brain. some dogs freak out around cars and dont know what to do so they run every which way. the driver would and should be 100% responsible. they could slam on their brakes, swerve away, or anything else.

if you have a dog and it gets hit some day from getting loose and running on the road and you take the person to court to file charges...let me know how that works out for you. i'll bet you any amount of money you, the owner of the dog will lose. like judge judy says you cant fix stupid people. you simply arent listening and you believe what YOU think is correct, not what the law thinks.

its obvious you're one of those peta people, so even if the person driving would have tried everything to get out of the dogs way and went head on with another vehicle killing everyone plus the dog, it would still be the drivers fault.

your above example...the laws differ from humans vs animals. please do not get the 2 mixed up. i know thats difficult sometimes.

this OT is over with, lets get back to more funny clips of dogs/cats/pets, like this beatboxing dog http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hhz9Aa6tDwk this dogs pretty awesome
