as for renewal, most of these plans are intro rates for new users. after say a year, likely goes to the standard monthly unless they offer a renewal offer. However, that's standard with all these deals on all carriers for the most part. just have to spin the wheel in a year to see what's out there as far as best offers if you need to switch.
