Boost Mobile's $10 monthly unlimited plan stands out as a low upfront way to get 30GB of full speed data on AT and T based service, with throttling to 512 Kbps after that. The deal also leaves room to walk away after a month if a better offer appears, and a Capital One promo code reportedly keeps it at $10 for five months. The main cautions are weak coverage in some areas, no hotspot, and a port out process that can take extra calls and verification. It is a practical short term option if the network works where you live.

How long after purchase do you have to activate the line?
I think it is 30 days based on previous slick deal posts, but I couldn't find any information for sure. One source said they may email before it's too late, but I wouldn't chance it beyond a month.

Thanks, you're correct. It is 30, looked on their website. I'll try it out for $11.08.

if anyone has a phone number that can be ported to boost then DM me to trade.
A new line with US mobile will cost you $3.5. No data and minimal minutes/text. That's the cheapest I know of

I had identical experience between Boost and Mint. Just have all your info written down before you bother calling and expect it to be 30-60 minute phone call.
I haven't used Boost but for me porting out of Mint was really quick using the chat

There is a promo code from CapitalOne which makes your plan $10/mo for 5 months
Hey, bud, what's the capital one promo you are referring to? I only see Capital One deal has $120 cash back.

Just an fyi, boost makes it almost impossible if you need to port out. Something to be aware of.
Just go ahead and sue them

Mint is actually pretty easy to get your account number and pin. Just use the chat bot feature but don't say anything about wanting your account and pin. Just keep asking for a representative and once one connects, they gave it to me almost no questions asked. I never had to call anyone. This is my second time porting out with no issues. The chat bot is programmed to tell you to call for that info

It makes sense, because the people on the phone are trained to drag their feet as much as possible trying to keep you on. It's like talking to the cable company lol.

Att network and heavily depriortized. If a heavy data user, ok it's attractive, but Att here in N Cal has many weak spots compared to Mint/T-Mo prepaid or any of the Verizon mvno's like TF, Total, Straighttalk.
They have a unified sim that switches to tmobile, if att is weak.

No they don't I ported out many lines just this year. They'll offer you a cheaper price just tell them that you're switching carriers and that's it.
