FYI, if USB-C1 and C2 are in use, it limits C1 to 65W and C2 to 30W.

The Wegear unit advertises 70W on C1, though it doesn't say what modes would get you there.

I think this is similar to Wegear's. But at $24 and with an all black finish.

I don't see any mention of AVS support for iPhone 18 Pro which means you aren't getting the 50W+ full charging speed on that iphone

Just FYI, there are ZERO verified purchaser reviews for this product on Amazon's website, meaning the reviews are all from people who were given the product for the purpose of reviewing it only.

It makes high pitched pulsing noises when charging something. If you're in a quiet room and have good hearing, it'll drive you nuts.

I've only run into this happening with cheap chargers packaged with other stuff btw. This tells me it's bottom barrel design vs something like Anker.

Agreed. I bought both and waiting for it to arrive and decide. Gemini said Lisen is more reputable. Anyone have thoughts?

Zero verified reviews + reports of coil whine. Cheap GaN chargers like this often die early or make noise. Hard pass.

Wegear is a new brand funded by Lenovo. Lisen is an old brand. AI bias mixed with some maybe guessed by AI.

Yeah, I bought phone holders from Lisen and they are surprisingly super high quality, but not sure about the charger.

Lisen is a legit brand sold in China with reasonably high sales number (less than brands like Anker), BUT most of its products are phone holders, not chargers. With a bit of research, it seem wegear is a sub-brand from lenovo, targetting the budget consuming non-China market (Competition in Chinese market is crazy these days). But there is a good chance it is the same or similar factory from China that produce those chargers.

Those two brands is sub-par compared with Chinese brands like CUKTECH or Anker for sure, but definitely much better than some random names on Amazon. I would have slightly lower expectations of them compared to UGREEN and BASEUS (while ugreen's quality seems to be improving)

whoever designs these chargers that stick out like 4" from the wall don't have cats, and also have the tightest outlets in the world, because gravity and the slightest pull on these cords angles them so the metal plugs are exposed, which is obviously dangerous

Same experience here. I have both a Lisen car phone holder and a desk phone holder, and they're surprisingly solid for the price. I've used UGREEN and BASEUS products too, and I pretty much share your assessment. Lisen definitely seems to know how to make a decent phone holder. Whether that translates to a reliable 100W charger is another question. 😅

To be fair, Apple's 140W MacBook Pro charger is pretty chunky too. 😅 Though Apple at least gives you the option of using an extension cord instead of having the whole brick hanging off the outlet.
