since visible run steep discounts from time to time, it seems one would be better off just buying the iPhone 18 pro outright and then just buying a cheap visible plan.....

Exactly. And you would be tied to a carrier for 2 years without any discounts. Hard to consider a good deal.

If these stacked and I could get the pro not the pro plus for 10 a month for 2 years I would definitely get locked in. Otherwise not really a deal

so are you looking to buy the pro retail price $1099 for $240, is that what you're saying because that would be a terrible deal for the carrier

I got it in writing from Visible that your bill is only$25 per month once they receive phone and certify it's in working condition. You don't pay full $45 every month for 24 months according to customer service representative.

The "cheap visible plan" is $25. Dave as you pay every month with the new phone deal.

The deal is you buy the iPhone 18 (any model) and pay $25 a month for 24 months. No trade-in is necessary. I did find out they won't give a trade-in credit as well as discounted bill. So take the $25 per month plan, the new iPhone, and trade your old iPhone back to Apple. Apple is offering more trade-in value than Visible would have anyway. So you don't want a double stacked deal from Visible. It's not a good deal.

No I'm talking about pro or pro plus as the visible plans. Not the phone. There is no direct discount to the phone it clearly states it is bill credits. There is nothing here that would make me think I would get the phone for 240 dollars.

I guess its plus and plus pro for the visible plans so pardon my incorrect message causing confusion with the iPhone models.

iPhone 18 and pro etc are all over priced 480 isn't enough. I don't mind staying with visible for 1-2 yrs of it gives it for free net net it's better than the carriers at least since it's 30 a month so net 360 a yr or 720 2 yrs. So basically it's ok with this you still need to pay like 50 a month since 18 iPhone is over priced. And taxes kill the deal as well higher price like house cars plus more taxes fees insurance not worth it. Drive old cars until wheels fall off don't buy exp houses let the Wall Street goons do it instead. Don't buy over priced compute either

Correct I am using 15 dollar visible plan iPhone 18 isn't worth the price it's printed on.

Let them all crash and burn from AI hyperinflation. Solution to higher prices is higher prices idk y hedge funds bought this site but it must be to make hyperinflation acceptable if you can get deal seekers to accept higher prices with lower quality as well or very little quality value increase with much higher prices.

That seems to be the bot hergefund game plan it seems spamming bad deals higher compute prices fake deals

I've been with Visible for about three years, currently on Visible+ Pro ($25/month) and the service has been great. Just remember that phones bought through them no longer automatically unlock after 60 days. The FCC granted Verizon a waiver of its federal unlocking requirement in January 2026, clearing the way for longer lock periods. Visible now requires 365 days of paid service unless you qualify for an earlier unlock by paying off your Affirm loan. If you travel abroad, you can't use a local or travel eSIM while the phone is locked. You're stuck with Visible's roaming on that phone, including paying for it once your included days run out.

I was thinking about upgrading from my iPhone 15 to the 18 Pro Max, but seeing this nonsense made me pass. I'd rather buy directly through Apple on a payment plan. Better yet, you might not need a new phone. I paid $100 to have my iPhone's battery replaced, and the performance is back to what it used to be.
