They are a bit on the narrow side and not really comfortable.

These do have tie laces, but according to one review: "It has laces which tie but it does not loosen or tighten the shoe." And from another: "Just like Sketchers, they are relatively easy to slide the feet in." My guess is that they have tie laces, but you tie them once and then don't do again.

Not even going to bother: I have a high arch & wide foot, and all these unknown producers all seem to make their shoes for flat-footed folks running around on skis. If it was a lace-to-toe design, there might be some give to it, but with something like this where the vamp goes half-way to the heel, fuggedaboudit.

Sometimes, I miss being a shoe salesman for Oshman's Sporting Goods [remember them?], because I could go through all the styles and find something that worked for me, and then get it w/ my employee discount. Good times! They had one racquetball shoe I wish I'd bought a gross of & worn for the next decade or two: cheap, rugged, comfortable, and their only downside was ballistic mesh uppers that held dirt like nobody's business! A little shot of white spray paint was the only effective way to get them "clean..." 😄

They're easy slide in and better than Sketchers from Costco. I just bought another pairs.

Nope. I've never tied them. Purely decorative.

Any shoe can be a "step into" shoe. Even if there are functional laces, you tie them once,
The things to look for are:
- stiff heel support. The back of the shoe doesn't fold under.
- little or no tongue. The tongue doesn't roll under.

You'll find these characteristics on this shoe,

I own two pairs of these. They are pretty heavy - I would not use these for activities or athletics, but for a casual shoe they feel fine. The laces are aesthetic only - these are effectively slip-ons.

I have fairly wide feet (12 2E/4E) and the size 12s fit comfortably. The exterior feels premium - I've had them now for about 3-4 months of intermittent and they are not showing significant wear (I do not use them every day, but probably 2-4 times a week)
